RV Water Heater Anode Rods - 2 Pack

Included in this package are two RV Water Heater Anode Rods. Each package contains two pieces for easy replacement. The overall length of each rod is 9-1/4", with a 3/4" NPT fitting that is suitable for most RV water heaters. These rods are compatible with the majority of RV Suburban and Mor-Flo 6-gallon water heaters. They are constructed from magnesium, which enables them to attract contaminants from the water heater, thereby extending the life of the tank.

A few tips for installation: you will need a 1-1/16-inch socket to remove the old rod, and plumber's tape is recommended for installation (socket and tape not included). It is important to regularly inspect and replace your RV water anode rod. If you notice white debris, it is crucial to replace the rod immediately.

Regular replacement of the anode rods is essential to prevent corrosion in the water tank. A depleted rod will cause the tank to corrode at a faster rate, putting your water heater at risk of leaking. We recommend checking the anode rods annually or replacing them when they have lost approximately 75% of their mass.

The dimensions of each rod include a 9.25-inch overall length, 3/4-inch NPT threads, and a 5/6-inch metal rod diameter, making them compatible with most RV Suburban and Mor-Flo 6-gallon water heaters. These rods are suitable for a variety of models, including Suburban and Mor-Flo (6-10-12 gallon tanks), as well as specific Suburban models like the SW12DE. They can be directly replaced for Suburban 232767 and Camco 11553 parts.
